Reversible Drum Mixer

There are so many types of concrete mixers available in Construction Industry but a reversing drum mixer (also known as a non-tilting mixer) is a commonly used type of concrete mixer that prepares concrete in single batches. The drum rotates entirely around its axis as materials are loaded through a charge channel at one end of the drum and exit through a discharge channel at the opposite end of the drum. Mixing blades of this concrete mixer machine are mounted on the inside surface of the drum.  As well as the drum rotates the blades starts mixing the material by lifting and dropping during each rotation. Once the materials are sufficiently mixed the rotation of the drum is reversed and the blade arrangement pushes the concrete through to the discharge end of the mixer.

Reversing drum mixers provide for efficient mixing and leave very little mixture within the mixer. The reversing drum mixers are known for the extremely low maintenance and operating costs, yet a good mixing effect relative to other drum mixers.
