Material Lift (Hoist)

 A hoist is a device used to lift or move material. The lifting force is provided by a drum (or wheel) on which wraps a rope (wire or fibre) or a chain. There are different types of hoists – Electro-hydraulic, manual or lever operated, base mounted, or pendant cranes..  Material lift (hoist) means a power or manually operated and suspended platform or bucket operating in guide rails and used for raising or lowering material exclusively and operated and controlled from a point outside the conveyance. Material Lift (Hoist) used at construction sites to lift men and materials. It consist of rack & pinion system to travel vertically along the mast sections.
